The Associate Consultant, Talent & Organizational Development (OD) role will support Behr's talent strategy and help our employees, teams, and the organization become more effective. The work entails supporting the design and implementation of different kinds of solutions: leadership development; career development; assessment and selection; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and more. Success will require a forward-thinking approach, conscientiousness, and an openness to learning and adapting quickly to change.

This role will be part of the Talent & OD team, reporting to the Sr. Director and leader of the team. We have creative, dynamic conversations and design sessions within the team and with colleagues across many different functional areas. We consistently look for ways to make our solutions more practical, innovative, and valuable and to make it easy to work with us. More than that, we make a meaningful, positive impact on the organization and its people.

Primary Responsibilities

The work is varied and revolves around...

Partnering on the design and implementation of DEI-related employee experience initiatives.

Managing and supporting initiatives to drive learning, development, career growth, and performance.

Supporting the onboarding process for new hires and new leaders.

Collaborating on needs assessments, survey implementations, and data analysis (e.g., from surveys, focus groups, etc.).

Facilitating focus groups and other organizational development interventions.

Developing job aids, tools, templates, and communications.

Developing content for, and maintaining, communication channels.

Requirements

Bachelors degree required

2-3 years experience in Human Resources; direct experience in talent management or organizational development is helpful

3+ years experience in a business environment

Strong project management and communication (written and oral) skills

Ability to analyze data and draw insights

Initiative, conscientiousness, and sound judgment

An innovative and practical approach

Ability to learn quickly and adapt readily to change

Ability to flex between working independently and working collaboratively
