Summary

LabCorp is currently seeking an Executive Director of Health System Partnerships performs operational and financial data analysis for large healthcare systems to identify business partnership opportunities that will optimize laboratory operations while improving the cost structure. Executive Director ensures effective execution of business agreements and growth strategies within hospital managed laboratories.

The incumbent is an important member of the Inpatient Services team who will be responsible for modeling and delivering reliable, accurate and cost-effective results for hospital managed laboratory engagements to enable client value creation and improved patient care.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Performs operational and financial data analysis for large healthcare systems to identify business partnership opportunities that will optimize laboratory operations while improving the cost structure.
* Provides leadership and expertise for health system proposal development.
* Present value proposition to potential clients.
* Drive assessment activities to evaluate opportunities and establish clear operational plans that optimize laboratory operations while improving the cost structure.
* Set priorities for the operational team and provide issue resolution.
* Direct operational activities to ensure successful and timely execution that delivers client value throughout all phases of managed laboratory engagements: proposal development, due diligence, pro forma development, and implementation.
* Build and manage cross-functional relationships with key internal and external partners.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills with an ability to build internal and external relationships.

Requirements

License/Certification/Education: Normally requires a B.A./B.S. with 7-10 years of experience in related field.

Qualifications, strongly preferred

* Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related degree is required
* 10+ years of experience in a hospital senior operations setting
* Demonstrated project management skills
* Demonstrated analytical and financial skills
* Superior teamwork and executive influence skills
* Prior consulting experience preferred
