Job Description

Role / Title:

The Senior Manager, Manufacturing - Supply Chain Pillar is responsible for the Kraft Heinz US Supply Chain pillar/chapters planning, implementation, audits, and scheduling of optimization projects for a specific set of manufacturing facilities. The position also serves to drive improvements/projects to reduce changeovers, cleaning events, planned loss and capacity constraints throughout the factories it supports.

Responsibilities:

* Rollout and support training of new chapters and expectations
* Provide inputs to improve our pillar chapters that drive improvement and best practices from the Plants
* Support the Manufacturing Supply Chain Pillar- Chapters Implementation Plan by reviewing the Plan and applying to their own facilities
* Lead the preparation of and execution of audits within the plants
* Responsible for planning and assisting in the execution of Manufacturing KPIs routines/rituals, improving the businesss performance on labor cost and OEE
* Focus on improvement plan(s) implementation that constantly strives to eliminate waste, improve conformance to plan, reduce conversion costs and to improve efficiency
* Support Overtime, Capacity, Labor/Overtime, Machine Downtime Projects and action plans
* Guarantee the Business Case calculation with Supply Chain Corporate Area, to provide the impact for Supply Chain Losses, working Capital and extra warehouse as well as lead the project analysis to minimize risks and negative impact in Supply Chain
* Responsible for Field trip routine, which includes new projects, training and action plan execution, and factory presentation preparation
* Guarantee Lean Flow Manufacturing (LFM) Projects execution on time and manage the projects execution of Sites Master plans related to Schedule optimization, owning all LFM Project KPIs including tracking and reporting
* Responsible to reach the LFM Savings and support the accuracy in 4Site System, supporting the Factories and leading savings by our Central Team
* Support and coach manufacturing Pod Lead to review and improve manufacturing performance Planned Loss Changeover, Cleaning, Labor optimization through schedule optimization
* Prepare materials for MPR - Meeting review
* Share best practices for manufacturing excellence team (Planned loss: Changeover and Cleaning, CFR, WC all related to LFM Projects)
* Communicate with Manufacturing Team: POD Lead, Plant Managers, CI and Engineering Managers, Finance, and other functions as necessary (IT, Accounting) to coordinate projects
* Communicate with Corporate Supply Chain: Demand Supply Planning, Supply Chain Losses, Logistic and Transportation team, to align and execute LFM cross-functional projects
* Enable and remove roadblocks to guarantee the LFM business cases/projects between multidisciplinary areas and negotiate with all stakeholders to execute the best business case for the company

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree required
* Previous manufacturing experience within a plant required
* Working knowledge of SAP required
* Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred
* APICS certification highly preferred
* Previous experience with Planning, Logistics and Operations is highly preferred
* Previous experience with Quality is highly preferred
* Accurately estimate time and effort required to plan and organize for all activities
* Demonstrated experience achieving results and setting challenging goals, as well as the ability to train and mentor others
* Experience in, or working with process mapping and process analysis, data collection, creating standards to guide project teams
* Knowledge in all aspects of analysis, design, planning, testing, documentation and production implementation
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Team player; cross functional orientation (an ability and desire to engage with team members and other members of the organization to achieve goals)
* Demonstrated success handling multiple projects with tight deadline
* Ability to travel 50%
