POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purposes in accordance with ALARA standards. Regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops, and organizes films.

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:

None.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Required: State of Florida HRS Licensure as a General Radiographer; ARRT Registration (R); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
