Job Description
The manager will lead a team of business and database analyst. They will prepare standard month end reports and reports on demand as necessary from the revenue cycle system. They will develop, manage, and maintain a database reporting system. The manager will provide additional ad hoc information system support to the CBO team as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assigns supervisors and staff according to operational needs
Establishes and monitors team goals
Reviews work completed by staff
Monitor Custom Reporting requests to insure accuracy and reasonableness of requests.
Effectively leads, coaches, and counsels supervisors and team members as necessary
Reviews actions plans and educates staff on proper follow up techniques
Writes Operational Procedures as necessary
Other Duties as may be assigned from time to time

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years experience capturing and analyzing healthcare data, including but not limited to, accounts receivable, revenue and claims data.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups and to physicians, practice managers, clinic staff, and other employees of the organization. Ability to effectively communicate with insurance carrier staff and vendor staff.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge and recent experience using the major Google applications. Also the complete suite of Microsoft Office tools with emphasis on Excel, Word, and Access. This should include a working knowledge of macros and/or VBA. Recent experience with Crystal Reports, and/or SAP Business Objects is a plus. Additionally, experience with SQL Server, TeraData, PL/SQL, TOAD, DBeaver, Power BI, and/or Oracle would be helpful. Data skills in use of Google drives, sftp, network mapped drives, and use of VM servers necessary.
