Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Lead Production Control to support GMD program at Fort Greely, AK

Job Description:

* This position supports the Operations and Sustainment (O&S) Integrated Product Team (IPT) on the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program and is located at Ft Greely, Alaska. The GMD weapon system is operationally capable 24/7 to defend the U.S. homeland against long-range ballistic missile attacks.

* This position complements a dynamic team of technicians, engineers, cyber security, quality assurance and program management professionals in the execution of a variety of tasks that serve the needs of the warfighter with timely and efficient action.

JOB DUTIES

* Lead production control department to include coaching, training and mentoring of peers

* Leads the execution of support program activities to include support system analysis, provisioning, technical data, training maintenance/modifications, support equipment and facilities.

* Develops, updates and reports maintenance program plans and schedules

* Validates standard deliverables and supports trade studies

* Researches, documents and provides technical information to management, field services and engineering

* Supports the establishment of processes to develop and maintain support products, engineering data and integrated support infrastructure.

* Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in data sets - Research and refine data collection requirements to improve quality of data sets

* Some travel may be required to Huntsville, Alabama or Vandenberg AFB, CA. Less than 10% travel is estimated.

* After-hours and weekend support may be required to support program needs

This position requires the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. (Interim clearance is required pre-start with final clearance post-start.)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)

* Minimum 3 years Production Operations or Production Control experience

* 3 or more years experience in leadership capacity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience utilizing maintenance planning and tracking systems (e.g. Maximo or MMICs)

* Degree in operations/manufacturing management, industrial engineering or related field of study

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor Degree) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
