Global Spread Products:
The Global Spread Products (GSP) business is a core business segment within Citi ICG Markets. Global Spread Products is the primary source of capital for corporations, governments, and non-profits, providing liquidity and innovative solutions globally. GSP was created in April 2018 via the merger of the legacy MSS businesses: Global Credit Markets, Global Securitized Markets and Municipals Securities. Later in 2019, GSP went through further organizational restructure to split the business into two major areas Sales & Trading (S&T) and Financing & Securitization (F&S). GSP is headed by Mickey Bhatia located in New York.
Global Spread Products (GSP) provides liquidity and innovative financing solutions globally across the credit, municipal, and securitized markets to government, corporate, institutional investor and non-profit customers. GSPs activities include origination, structuring, investing, lending, and market making and it offers a variety of products including, but not limited to, corporate bonds, emerging markets bonds, asset backed securities, mortgage backed securities, collateralized loan obligations, municipal securities, mortgage agency securities, short term interest rate products, loans, letters of credit, and derivative instruments, such as interest rate swaps, total return swaps, rate locks, and credit default swaps. GSP offers a suite of services for its institutional clients including underwriting, secondary trading, M&A advisory, securitization, project financing, warehouse lending, commercial, residential and affordable housing financing.
The GSP Chief Administration Officer (CAO) has global responsibility for managing cross functional Business Management (BM), In-Business Risk & Control, Financial and Management Reporting, and Product Development teams spanning product and region, sales, operations & technology.
The CAO reports to the Global COO of Markets and the Global Head of GSP.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate proven ability to work together with multiple stakeholders across Markets, Compliance, Finance, HR, O&T and Risk. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a cross-functional environment without close supervision and with colleagues who may not be in the same geographic location.
The role requires strong analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills that rely on influence and building effective partnerships to execute our business plans and controls in a systematic, measurable, and effective way. A successful candidate will have the following attributes:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Management:
* Assist the Head of GSP in day-to-day management of the business
* Support the business growth strategy and drive implementation of strategy
* Manage GSPs plan and outlook processes and oversee monthly and quarterly business reviews
* Understand financials and drivers assist business heads in responding to changes in the environment
* Manage all content and logistics for key GSP communications & presentations
2. Governance, Risk & Controls:
* Chair/support governance forums
* In conjunction with MSS COO organization
* Own development of GSP Risk and Controls capabilities
* Drive various regulatory initiatives as GSPs representative
* Coordinate regulatory reviews
* Assist in internal audit reviews, providing materials and address concerns arising from these reviews
* Ensure the business is run in compliance with all internal and regulatory standards
* Work with the businesses to instill a strong culture of conduct and control
3. Technology
* Create and implement a business wide technology plan
* Develop and support business analysis for technology projects
* Allocate technology resources and monitor project progress
4. Human Capital Management:
* Ensure the people strategy and organizational capabilities are aligned to business strategy
* Manage the headcount and hiring processes
* Drive internal mobility, diversity and inclusion priorities as well as location strategies
* Help manage the mid-year and YE end appraisal processes; compensation, graduate recruitment
* Oversee VOE (Voice of Employee) work streams in partnership with HR
Experience, Skills and Capabilities:
* Leadership skills to help manage a large, complex, multi-product global business
* Thorough understanding of spread products and markets; a minimum of 10 years relevant Markets experience
* Understanding of the Risk and Controls environment
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Credibility to lead, manage, motivate and influence a diverse population of direct reports across geographies, products and matrix reporting lines
* Superior problem solving skills; pragmatic approach to ensure limited resources are directed appropriately
