Overview

Burlington is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer with a focus in Network Security to join our Information Security team. The Network Security Engineer with support the Information Security Program on the Security Operations team. You will partner with our network team and IT partners assisting in firewall management, network design, and being the go-to expert for network security. Role and Responsibilities:

* Lead engineering efforts across a wide variety of security products (e.g. Next Gen Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, SDWAN Security, Cloud Security)

* Mature network/data segmentation of assets and lead designs of future networks

* Identify, design, and implement improvements to current programs/procedures and security solutions.

* Consult and support business partners with design and implementation of secure systems.

* Collaborate with IT partners and successfully manage complex initiatives.

* Assist in the integration of network access and devices into the IAM program.

* Support response efforts when network flow/design expertise is required.

* Provide training, process flow diagrams, and documentation of security systems.

* Rotational on call is required for incident response and systems.

Additional Experience, Skills and Abilities:

* 5+ years of experience managing enterprise networks.

* 3+ years of designing and implementing new systems, security controls, networks.

* Strong experience with Palo Alto NGFW, VMware NSX, LogRhythm, Azure.

* Experience managing complex and high impact projects.

* Ambition to recognize and address challenges and provide innovative solutions.

* Expert level troubleshooting networks, operating systems, web applications.
