Sr. Electronic Design Engineer

Job Purpose:

The Electrical Engineer is primarily responsible for Verilog RTL development for FPGAs. Additional responsibility includes electrical design and development of products including schematic capture, layout review, initial bring-up and debugging of new boards and platforms, including generating detailed test plans and reports. The successful candidate will perform schematic, board level and system level characterization and debugging, generate characterization reports and statistical capture of EVT and DVT data. The successful candidate shall be self motivated, proactive, ability to travel as needed, and have good communication skills.

Nature of Duties:

* Develop necessary RTL for FPGAs that provide system management functionality
* Review and develop schematics for new boards
* Generate BOM
* Assist in layout review
* Work with procurement to secure timely availability of components
* Bring-up and debug of boards
* Error logging and revision control of boards
* Integration into system and long term functional and reliability testing

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent qualification
* 8 years of relevant electrical product design and development preferred but candidates with less experience may be considered
* Extensive experience with FPGA RTL development including testbench development.
* Good understanding of x86 server architecture
* Excellent communication skills to develop and maintain proactive interactions.
* Team player willing to integrate into a heterogeneous team of electrical and mechanical engineers.

Pay Range - $102,000 - $130,000
