Internal Auditor, Privacy

Job Description

Facebook is seeking an Internal Auditor to join the Internal audit Privacy team to drive audits for global privacy compliance requirements. We are looking for a candidate who is highly effective in a rapidly changing environment and demonstrates technical and project management skills. This position will be part of an integrated team that thrives on collaboration, flexibility, resourcefulness, and will closely partner with multiple teams to assess adherence with regulatory and compliance requirements.

Internal Auditor, Privacy Responsibilities

* Participate in ongoing enterprise risk assessment process to provide updates and inform the audit plan

* Perform complex compliance audits and control design assessments for Privacy compliance requirements including planning, execution, remediation, and post remediation validation

* Deliver progress updates and audit results to Internal Audit management and cross-functional stakeholders

* Anticipate potential roadblocks and issues and provide suggestions and alternatives

* Integrate with cross-functional internal auditors to ensure alignment on audit work

* Build subject matter expertise in industry areas and stay up-to-date on technological developments

* Promote automation in completion of audit testing and innovate new ways of executing projects to drive continuous improvements in the delivery of internal audits

* Draft risk-based audit reports and recommendations to improve control processes to executive management that clearly present audit results

* Develop cross-functional partnerships across Facebook with Privacy, engineering, product and legal stakeholders

* Effectively manage relationships with the Internal Audit co-sourcing partners to ensure cohesive and collaborative execution

Minimum Qualifications

* 4+ years of audit or compliance experience

* Demonstrated experience of project management practices, tooling, and executing audit projects through their lifecycle

* Experience using data analytics in the audit lifecycle to effectively synthesize data, identify patterns/trends, derive meaningful insights

* Analytical skills with high attention to detail

* Problem-solving skills that demonstrate creativity and logical thinking to reach a solution

* Interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team

* Experience executing independently in a dynamic, high demand environment while managing multiple projects by demonstrating organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills

* Demonstrated experience in auditing proprietary in-house built engineering systems and corporate systems

Preferred Qualifications

* 4+ years of internal audit experience in a technology sector, information security, public company, and/or professional services assurance experience

* CISA, CISSP, CIA, CIPP or other relevant professional certification

* Audit experience in audit or compliance related to international jurisdictions

* Experience in using data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

* Proven communication skills

* Experience working effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where curiosity, flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

* Experience flourishing in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity and stay on top of business and product changes that could affect compliance requirements

* Subject matter knowledge in understanding risks/controls for in-house built systems

* Experience with SQL or other programming languages
