The Tech Support Admin is an hourly position that is responsible for supporting our end users with project specs, resolving simple tech support/help desk requests and questions, and providing workload coordination, documentation, and administrative support for the IT team.
Responsibilities
* Resolving simple day-to-day tech support requests received through our ticketing system, providing courteous, effective, and timely service to end users.
* Communicating with remote end users over the phone and online to investigate, diagnose, and resolve technical issues.
* Working with managers and end users to clarify and refine requested IT projects.
* Assisting with onboarding and offboarding employees systems access.
* Participating in end-user testing, training, deployment and documentation of new components of our business system.
* Authoring troubleshooting or other IT-related procedural instructions documents for employee self-service use.
* Maintaining accurate logs of application software versions, machine serial numbers, and various license renewals.
* Keeping corporate mandated network, password, and workstation security compliance protocols up to date and fully documented.
* Helping administer our call centers telephone queue setup.
Qualifications
* IT-related college degree or technical certification(s) preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
* 2 or more years in a help desk or IT support role.
* Courteous and effective communication by phone, e-mail, and in person.
* Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
* Basic knowledge of Mac OS X and Windows operating systems.
* Basic experience with Linux, networking, databases and/or coding experience is a plus.
* Experience with issue ticketing systems and with remote support applications a plus.
* Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Must have a valid drivers license and be able to drive between our multiple company locations in Aston, PA to respond to IT issues in any of them.
* Ability to learn and understand new technical applications. Willingness and eagerness to not only learn about how the departments within our company function, but to also to expand your own knowledge of more advanced IT topics, such as simple coding and network troubleshooting tasks.

The noise level in the work environment is low (offices) to moderate (manufacturing facility).
