What you will do
As part of the North American sales team, the Sales Engineer will support the pre-sales efforts of the Software House product portfolio in North America. The focus will be on the integrator channel, end users and consultant community for pre-sales efforts that will include; product definition, demos, education, customer assistance, assisting in responding to RFPs, large project designs, and providing on-site support for key accounts as needed.
How you will do it
* Provide highly technical product presentations and demonstrations to end-users, and System Integrators and Dealers where appropriate (heavy IT involvement, high profile end-users).
* Continuous training of Regional Sales Managers and Manufacturers Representatives to elevate knowledge in the depth and width of our solutions.
* Collect product enhancement, new feature and new product requests (with associated revenue opportunities) and provide to team and Product Management for potential inclusion in future releases.
* Work with Business Development team who are identifying new opportunities through relationships with Architect & Engineers/Consultants. As Business Development reps cultivate relationships and engagement progresses you will be tasked with supplying deep technical sales support including product presentations and demonstrations.
* You will also participate in end-user and A&E/consultant events and support accordingly.
* Unified Sales focus by partnering with Software House Area Sales Managers and Directors. Unified presentations and demonstrations to end-users; existing C-Cure users, existing video users, identified Unified targets.
* Product Experts. Go-to technical sales resource for organization with continuous learning to ensure product expertise of respective products; video and access control.
* Support for tradeshows, especially end-user ones.
* Manage product suite for GSX and ISC West (product set-up, demos and presentations).
* Participate and support Marketing promotions to increase market awareness of our products and solutions.
What we look for
Required
* Bachelor Degree, preferred or equivalent technical degree and experience.
* Travel up to 75%.
* Good organizational skills and strong personality.
* Experience conducting customer presentations and demonstrations.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
Preferred
* Prefer experience with security industry.
* Working knowledge of IP video surveillance systems, NVRs, network video technology and IP cameras.
* Strong networking and IT knowledge and experience.
