The Role
We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that will empower Centene to better serve our members. The Solutions Architect will help move the organization to a future state while using modern technology.





As a Solutions Architect you will:



t
* Provide architecture analysis / diagramming
t
* Provide technical mentoring for engineering and other architects
t
* Work closely with technical product owners to drive a technical roadmap prioritizing based on known risks.
t
* Develop architecture design patterns.
t
* Develop and drive the standards, development processes, systems architecture, and design patterns to support IT and business solutions
t
* Responsible for overall systems design and architecture, including new solutions and patterns
t
* Collaborate with business users and stakeholders through design and implementation, including needs analysis and system requirements
t
* Define and refine methodology and standards for setup, design and implementation of the application or technology to meet the needs of the business and IT customers
t
* Generate detailed system requirements with cost projections, cost benefit analysis and ROI







Additionally, you'll bring:



t
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.
t
* 5+ years of relevant design and architecture experience
t
* IT experience within managed care environment highly preferred.
t
* Demonstrated understanding of business process as it relates to experience in the field.
t
* Large Enterprise and complex architecture experience
t
* Hands on and architectural experience with modern technologies such as Event Driven and other integration architecture, OAuth security, DevSecOps practices, etc.
t
* Excellent communication skills
t
* Strong ability to influence others
