The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. The MES Operations supervisor role will lead an international team of technical resources to be responsible for working with users and IT resources to support standardized Camstar/PAC MES solutions across a global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise a distributed, mixed team of contractors and permanent employees
* Operation Management:
* Manage Incidents and service requests
* Lead rapid response activities
* Maintain operation process and incident response documentation
* Develop standard operating documents and knowledge base articles
* Coordinate incident escalation
* Provide continual improvements and definitions
* Data Archive Monitoring o Metric development, tracking, and reporting
* Operational Support
* Oversight of 24x7 support and response
* Identification and response to system/solution issues
* Perform environment maintenance and related customer communications
* System monitoring and recovery
* Perform routine operational monitoring
* Monitor server performance and initiate action when appropriate
* Perform root cause analysis
* Perform deployments and migrations facilitation
* Maintain the development environment
* Communications/Collaboration
* Operations meetings
* End user customers where needed
* Monthly operations status updates with key stakeholders
Required Skills:
* BS/MS in Computer Science /Systems Management/IT Related field
* Strong understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems
* Strong leadership and project management skills
* In-depth knowledge of industry best practices in application development
* Experience working with IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
* In-depth knowledge of source code management systems
* In-depth knowledge of relational databases
* Prior supervisory experience
