Our specialized services include cardiology, orthopedics, maternity, diagnostic imaging, emergency care with a 24/7 level IV Trauma Center, wound care, and women's health and breast care services.

About the Shift:

Day Shift; M-F; 6:30a-3p; Rotating Shift and On-Call

About the Position:

Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures. Ensures operating suite is adequately prepared for procedure. Monitor PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies. Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities. Provides service to age range from Neonate to Geriatric. Other duties as assigned.

Regulatory Requirements:

* High School Graduate or equivalent.
* Surgical Technician Certification or exemptions to that certification as defined by Texas Health and Safety Code Title 4, subtitle B, section 259.002.
* Certifications as indicated by the Steward Certification document.
* Preferred with a minimum of one (1) year of work experience in OB or in the Operating Room.
