About This Role:

Quality Manager I with a passion for leadership. Lead a team of Quality Engineers and Technicians in direct support of medical device manufacturing; responsible for driving continuous improvement in product quality and compliance while partnering with Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams in achieving new product integration, cost, and customer delivery objectives. Develop and maintain quality policies and controls to ensure that product meets a high standard of customer satisfaction and conforms to global standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor field performance of product and customer feedback. Own and manage quality discrepancies related to process, product, and customer complaints; and develops scope, disposition, and corrective actions for prevention of future discrepancies.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

* Lead a team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals. Coach, direct, and develop a high performing team.
* Develop and implement quality strategies; seeks innovative approaches to attaining quality goals.
* Drive Proactive quality within own business unit
* Build relationships with downstream customer site(s) and business unit(s) to enable a culture of good team building as well as open communication channels.
* Own and drive deliverables related to Product Performance, Quality, and Compliance; key partner in all department goals and objectives.
* Provide guidance and training to staff, assist subordinates in attaining career goals, motivate individuals to achieve results, and recruit and maintain a high-performing team.
* Determine appropriate staff levels and schedules. Work with key partners to understand priorities and plan resource allocation accordingly.
* Maintain and enhance cross-functional relationships.
* Provide significant guidance regarding technical strategies and approaches; work cross-functionally in identifying and resolving technical issues.
* Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements).

What Were Looking For In You:

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
* 1-2 years of direct supervisory experience with a passion for leadership and team development
* Medical Device or regulated industry experience.
* Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

* Collaborative leader with experience leading technical teams
* Previous work experience in a quality organization
