As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for properly implementing and maintaining our quality systems. What youll do on a typical day:

* Plan, direct and facilitate process improvements; drive the team to reach goals and performance milestones
* Implement and drive a Quality culture; understand customer needs and requirements to develop quality control processes and plans
* Act as an advisor to leadership to assist with implementing and maintaining programs
* Analyze and report relevant key performance indicators to the organization
* Communicate directly with the customer on quality processes, policies, metrics and performance
* Operate within the Quality Management System in accordance with company policies and procedures
* Perform and provide oversight for internal and external audits
* Monitor and communicate progress with closure of corrective and preventive actions
* Ensure sites maintain an effective understanding of the quality processes, programs, documentation and regulatory compliance requirements
* Provide statistical data analysis on process capability, DPPM and other key metrics to help operations improve site quality

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, youll need:

* 4 years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
* Deep understanding of quality assurance concepts and practices
* Experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office

Itd be great if you also have:

* Bachelors degree in a Quality or Engineering discipline
* Experience in developing/managing Quality Management Systems registered to International Quality Standards ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 (OHSAS 18001)
* 7 years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
* Internal auditing experience
* Experience in Quality with technology products
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
* Ability to develop insightful, valuable and actionable analyses with detailed explanations regarding drivers of the results
* Experience training and instructing large groups of people; experience training instructors and supervisors in techniques and skills for interacting with employees
* Ability to identify training and development needs within the organization and core competencies of workforce
