Responsibilities

Horizon Health seeks a Clinical Assessment Coordinator for its Inpatient Psychiatry Unit located at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. Responsibilities include providing on and off site clinical assessments for potential clients to the inpatient program as well as acting as a direct liaison with appropriate interested parties and physicians through the patient referral inquiry and admission process. This position responds to requests for general information about the unit's treatment program and provides information and education topics in response to community requests.

The position requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing with RN licensure, or Master's Degree in Mental Health with licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT). Mental Health assessment experience is required. Experience in Psychiatric Utilization review and inpatient psychiatric treatment preferred. Medical Nursing background is preferred.

Qualifications
