Caution against fraudulent job offers!

We have been informed of instances where jobseekers are led to believe of fictitious job opportunities with Deloitte US (Deloitte). In one or more such cases, false promises of actual or potential selection, or initiation or completion of the recruitment formalities appear to have been or are being made. Some jobseekers appear to have been asked to pay money to specified bank accounts of individuals or entities as a condition of their selection for a job with Deloitte. These individuals or entities are in no way connected with Deloitte and do not represent or otherwise act on behalf of Deloitte.

We would like to clarify that:

* At Deloitte, ethics and integrity are fundamental and not negotiable.
* We are against corruption and neither offer bribes nor accept them, nor induce or permit any other party to make or receive bribes on our behalf.

Work You'll Do

Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement. Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods, and tools to support service offerings or industry projects. Use technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, and/or implement products and services. Construct and assess high-level and detailed security programs translating business needs and regulatory requirements into cost effective and risk appropriate controls. Understand clients business environment and basic risk management approaches. Develop information security strategies and plans based upon generally accepted security standards. Generate innovative ideas and participate in decision making with engagement management. Build and nurture strong client relationships.

Requirements

* Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
* Eighteen months of cyber risk and data protection experience.
* Experience must include eighteen months of:
* Building frameworks of information security controls, including the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, to assess the information security maturity of IT environments, mobile applications, and operational technology environments;
* Identifying, mapping, and creating tests for information security controls, using information security guidance from sources such as the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) and New York Department of Financial Services (DFS);
* Developing prioritized recommendations to reduce cyber risks and mitigate potential threats;
* Developing architecture and data flow diagrams to describe IT systems and applications, including cloud architecture on platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS);
* Deploying data protection technologies, including Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP), to scan for and protect business data in an IT environment;
* Integrating encryption capabilities into applications using Thales e-security Vormetric, C, .NET, and Java, to protect business and personal data while data is being processed, transmitted, and stored;
* Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and application issues;
* Preparing server resource requests, creating firewall rules, and interacting with vendors to install, upgrade, and maintain information security software;
* Preparing detailed technical reports and executive-level dashboards to display the current state of clients' information security programs and processes, providing insights into information security related data, and proposing future improvement actions; and
* Creating manuals ("runbooks") to support the daily operation of information security technologies, including roles and responsibilities, exception and escalation procedures, and technical health check procedures.
* Position requires 80% travel.
