This position provides batches to the fill lines by following discrete formulas as provided by R&D.

Make adjustments as determined by the Quality Lab in order to bring blends into specification.

1. Combine raw materials together by following precise blending instructions.
2. Adhere to all safety rules, procedures, and requirements while in the plant.
3. Maintain high levels of housekeeping daily including the return of partial quantities of raw materials to inventory and keeping assigned work areas clean.
4. Safely operate a forklift. Acquire and maintain an operators license, in accordance with plant policy.
5. Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
6. Be willing to travel overnight for the purpose of seeing a new product being made, or training.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
Must have the legal right to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future for employment work visa status
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have access to reliable transportation
Must be able to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation

The successful candidate must also pass a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment
Experience operating packaging equipment such as robotics, filling machines, case packers, labelers, etc.

Experience monitoring the quality of raw materials or finished goods i
Experience with material-handling equipment
