Role Summary:
The Manager of Sustainability Digitalization will be responsible for defining and supporting delivery of the next gen digital capabilities in the area of data acquisition and harmonization, program management, collaboration, reporting, visualization, and advanced analytics to accelerate PepsiCos sustainability initiatives globally. This role will require the individual to engage very closely with our global sustainability teams to understand the goals, strategy, and operating model of multiple focus areas (Packaging, Climate Change Mitigation, Water, Product) and methodically document and secure alignment on our digital capability requirements. This person will also act as the product owner and guide and support the Global IT and Global Data and Analytics team in successful and on-time delivery of the digital solutions. And lastly, this role will lead the planning and roll out of business process changes to ensure smooth adoption of these next gen capabilities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build strong partnership with the sustainability teams and develop a solid understanding of the program goals, strategy and execution framework
* Identify, assess and recommend opportunities to apply digital solutions to drive progress and raise our performance to the next level
* Support in developing and securing leadership alignment on the digital capability roadmap for various sustainability programs within the company
* Act as a digital product owner and develop detailed business and functional specifications for the capabilities in collaboration with sustainability subject matter experts
* Support the IT and/or other internal and external teams in development of the solutions and lead the quality control/testing efforts to ensure the solutions meet the business and functional specifications
* Establish and oversee change management processes for successful deployment and adoption of the various solutions as they get rolled out
* Stay current on the emerging trends and new technologies/frameworks being developed both within and outside of PepsiCo in the area of end to end supply chain digitalization, reporting and analytics and propose opportunities for continuous improvement
* Lead and manage up to a small team comprised of contractors and/or employees to deliver the business goals
* Be willing and able to travel domestically and globally as needed (~10-20%)

Qualifications/Requirements
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field. MBA or masters preferred
* 6+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in contributing to strategy and leading implementation of digital solutions for driving business goals
* Strong experience and understanding of building business solutions in two or more of following areas data integration, data management, reporting and advanced analytics, business process automation, supplier relationship management, and knowledge and learning management
* 2+ year of planning, leading and managing work of a small team of 2-4 members
* Highly skilled at project planning, creating business requirements documents, use cases, user acceptance test plans, process flow and data flow diagrams
* Strong collaboration, teamwork and relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions in the organization
* Strategic thinking to create business value through smart technology solutions. Experience assessing software tools, solutions and service delivery models and recommending the best fit for the situation at hand
* Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities with results focused mindset
* Highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
* Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner
* Strong communication skills and ability to communicate technical or complex subject matter in business terms

Preferred Skills:
* Experience in supply chain digitalization specifically in areas related to sustainability
* Knowledge of developing solution using relational databases like Teradata/SQL server, data integration tools like Trifacta/Alteryx, visualization tools Tableau/Power BI and advanced analytics products such as Microsoft Azure Analytics and AI+Machine learning
* Knowledge of developing business applications (process automation, knowledge and learning) in cloud platform like Salesforce
* Experience managing software development projects through the full project lifecycle, from initiation through implementation. Familiarity with agile and waterfall lifecycle methodologies.
* Experience supporting software applications after implementation, including - break/fix activities, enhancements, SLAs and metrics, vendor management, off-shoring/outsourcing
* Previous experience in a CPG company
* Basic knowledge of sustainability and an interest in sustainability
