This role may be your opportunity. The Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) seeks an experienced program manager to create and lead programs that build collaborative relationships with external security researchers and industry partners to help protect Microsoft customers. The work we do spans Microsoft's full product and service portfolio, from Azure to Xbox.
The ability to creatively problem solve and execute on consistent and accurate deliverables is required. Security industry experience is not required. * Help shape the strategic direction of Microsoft's security incentives and partnership programs to build durable security partnerships and protect customers.
* Collaborate with the global security researcher community at in-person events and online to build a stronger community that is focused on helping to protect all customers.
* Partner with stakeholders across the company to create, manage, and evolve bug bounty and other researcher incentive programs.
* Manage day-to-day bug bounty and researcher incentives program operations across all products and programs.
* Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance data to drive opportunities for automation and process improvement across MSRC and Microsoft
Required Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience in product or program management in a technology-related field (e.g. cybersecurity, gaming, software or hardware development, biotechnology, policy, etc.)
* Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ability to develop scalable and repeatable strategic processes and identify creative ways to improve upon existing operations.
* Ability to help, educate, and influence stakeholders in situations with high levels of ambiguity and tight deadlines.
* Basic familiarity with principles of bug bounty programs, vulnerability disclosure, or incident response.
