Position Summary
The Global Trade Compliance Manager drives the review and implementation of Customs Compliance Audit Programs globally. This position will be responsible for Global Customs compliance audit for all importing entities. This position requires domestic and international Customs compliance audit experience and thorough knowledge of CTPAT-Trade Compliance.
Responsibilities
* Execute the Customs compliance audit plan for multiple business units
* Provide support for the Supply Chain Security and Brand Protection Programs for multiple business units for the U.S. and globally
* Liaise and collaborate with external Auditors, Customs brokers, International, Finance, Internal Audit, Legal, or other stakeholders to assess and respond to audit or monitoring requirements
* Assess, develop and implement an effective Customs compliance audit methodology and ensure all audit procedures are executed in accordance with the methodology and company policy
* Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement with regard to the audit methodology, and partner with leaders and key stakeholders to drive efficiency and continue to elevate the program
* Provide status updates and feedback regarding observations from monitoring procedures that will assist in formulating enterprise-wide risk assessments and compliance policy development and operational process reviews
* Frequent interaction with multiple business units
* Support other activities undertaken by the Customs Compliance team, including but not limited to training and education, due diligence, or any other tasks as required and assigned

Experience and Education
* Minimum of 7 years relevant experience
* B.S. or B.A. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
* U.S. Customs Broker's License
* Knowledge of CTPAT-Trade Compliance standards and procedures
* Public accounting or auditing experience, preferably with a Big Four accounting firm or large publicly traded company required
* MBA or advanced degree, or other certifications preferred
* Previous experience with project management
* Foreign language skills a plus
* Strong PC skills. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* SAP experience preferred
