The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing, implementing and executing on critical key projects throughout the WellMed Clinically Integrated Network (CIN). The position provides support through representation of CIN interests in both internal and external initiatives. This position will also work with multiple regional and market teams as a liaison for CIN performance and communication. This position requires a unique skill set that includes leading cross-functional or cross-regional teams on complex projects, collaborating vertically and horizontally throughout the organization, understanding workflow, and creating a collaborative environment to work effectively throughout the organization to ensure alignment of strategy and approach. Accountable for supervising assigned projects and operational collaboration during implementation of new processes. Coordinates with market teams, program managers, business analysts, training teams, and other stakeholders to ensure all CIN goals and objectives are met.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Create and execute Project plans and revise appropriately to meet changing requirements and needs
* Plan and schedule Project timelines and milestones using the appropriate tools
* Manage day-to-day operational and tactical activities of a Project
* Developsand deliver Progress Reports, Proposals, Requirements Documentation and Presentations
* Diagnose task / procedural change issues and help to resolve the problem
* Develop and maintain relationships with both internal/externals customers, market leadership, enterprise wide business units, OptumCare Delivery Organizations and senior executives to influence project teams and gain consensus on the selection of the most viable solutions
* Provide analysis, recommendations, and options to CIN leadership regarding decisions to be made or problems to be solved in internal or external meetings
* Responsible for representing the CIN value proposition and performance initiatives to market leadership and teams and acts as a key liaison on cross functional projects
* Understand and helps prioritize projects, business initiatives and strategic plans
* Manage risk by bridging interdepartmental gaps, by connecting information within the organization
* Act as a centralized facilitating point for the coordination of tasks and integrated execution of key strategic initiatives and reduces activities carried out in isolation
* Attend and supports all key internal meetings - deciphers critical information, investigates issues, answers critical questions, ensures timely follow up of all action items
* Work through issues and roadblocks with internal and external stakeholders to reach amicable solutions that balance the needs of all parties without compromising the integrity of the agreed upon contract
* Display the ability to question assumptions or challenges the status quo, as well as understanding resistance to change in the organization and helping individuals work through it
* Recommend opportunities and/or action plans for improved performance based on business need
* Collaborate with project managers, program managers, business analysts, training teams, and other stakeholders to ensure inputs, processes and outputs are captured and maintained for effective implementation
* Utilize project management and process improvement methodologies (DMAIC) to ensure deliverables are met
* Ensure timely research and resolution of complaints are reported
* Resolve work problems to ensure quality customer service is delivered
* Coordinate project meetings, trainings or collaborative sessions on assigned areas; prepares draft agendas; issues agendas with appropriate backup materials; takes minutes, and provides follow-up correspondence
* Understand the complexity within functions, relationships, and contractual obligations with the ability to balance competing priorities

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field (4+ years of experience beyond the required years may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree)
* 5+ years of experience in full life cycle project management experience including project ROI assessment, project team management and change control management, or healthcare operations experience
* Experience with Microsoft Office Software Programs

Preferred Qualifications:

* Health plan, ACO, healthcare or clinic operations experience
* Problem solving capabilities resulting in significant business impact and customer satisfaction
* Detail-oriented and ability to identify potential risk or problems and find resolution
* Ability to create collaborative group relationships with diverse geographic locations, skills and level of understanding of company processes and policy
* Effectively operate through complex organizational situations with ability to anticipate obstacles and plan appropriate approach
* Able to influence and interact comfortably with all levels of professional and line level staff
* Ability to interact one-on-one and consult with all levels of leadership
* PMP certification
