We are looking for senior technical professionals who are passionate about building Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytical Applications. Quality assurance Ops of such systems is a challenging task and requires deep technical knowledge and individuals who are passionate about quality. The right candidate will work closely with the development team leaders, product/program managers, and release managers to create the next generation of our Analytics product line for the cloud.

We are looking for Ops engineers with a strong technical background with QA infrastructure components and automation. This is your ideal role if you are looking for a varied role performing DevOps operations with a QA bias. You will be executing DevOps activities with a constant eye for improving the experience for operators and engineers with the overall goal of improving the customer experience with our product.

You must be a highly organized analytic thinker with strong scripting and debugging skills.

Monitoring systems will be like a second nature to you, you will be comfortable dealing with CPU/IO bottlenecks and will have no hesitation in performing DB admin tasks. You will be as adept at taking your cues and action items from system reports as from incident tracking systems and will look to provide solutions as required, calling on your Shell/Python skills where appropriate and making use of your innovative mindset to help deliver the best in cloud services

This position requires a solid computer science background, strong scripting and debugging skills. You will have the opportunity to learn an exciting new product built on cutting edge technology so you must be curious about technology and be willing you get your hands dirty whilst learning in a fast paced environment. You must have an operation mindset and always be looking for improve the product, the processes involved in getting those products to market and yourself. We will provide pre-packaged analytic pipelines and applications hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, built for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. Our Services will deliver pre-built data models for ERP, HCM, CRM applications. Additionally, we will have offerings that will provide semantic layer KPIs and metrics, and modern visualizations that will provide analytical and actionable insights to the Business User. We are building our offerings as Native Services on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform.

Roles and Responsibilities

Assist in creation and maintenance of environments
Perform Devops activities to support customers, engineers and processes through our release cycles
Drive operation activates as we plan and deliver releases
Execute, with excellence, delivery of interim patches and hot fixes as required
Continually improve process through automation and creation of tools
Work with many teams to take ownership of and resolve product failure/outages.
Work with appropriate teams to drive system failures/outages to resolution
Contribute and Participate in reviews and development of requirement documents, functional and technical design specifications, runbooks.
Perform product testing as required
Contribute to development/maintenance of automation test/frameworks
Preferred skills and qualifications

Creative, Team-oriented, Quick Learner with a drive to produce results.
B.E / M.E / B.Tech in CS or equivalent from reputed universities with consistently good academic record with 5+ years of experience in devops / support preferably involving ETL / data warehousing technology.
Professional experience with scripting tools, such as Bash/Python
Proven comfort with OS and DB monitoring/debugging.
Great debugging skills, self starter.
Proven QA/QA automation experience

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
