Job Description

The Desk Officer function as a guide to manage and support customer operations by serving as the primary interface between multiple locations/components for matters related to case management in a dynamic environment. Qualified candidates should be self-starters, well organized, have the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

The candidate should have operational support experience and a successful background in operations management and documentation. The candidate will demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of customer operations and the use of the customers system of record. Candidate must have strong writing, editing and verbal communications skills, with the ability to express facts and complex ideas clearly, concisely and accurately. Some TDY travel may be required.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor degree plus 3 or more years of related work experience in the required field.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Knowledge and ability to successfully collaborate with other customer counterparts, components, and community partners.

Demonstrated initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Strong interpersonal, analytical and critical thinking skills coupled with exceptional oral and written communication skills.
