Work Hours/Shift:
* FT- Flexibility is a Must. Shifts can vary AM-PM 8hr, 10hr or 12hr. Open availability during the Week and weekends.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Oversee all operations of the farm
Setting standards for growing all specimens, including the schedule and nutrient intake
Ensuring proper preparation for harvesting times
Monitoring and ordering supplies
Experimenting with growing conditions to improve efficiency
Compiling/maintaining a projected budget
Water testing on a regular basis
Running regular financial reports
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a hydroponic farm
Extensive knowledge of botany and the art of growing plants without soil
Ability to lead a tea during harvest time
Forward-thinking mindset
Ability to conduct formal training sessions and presentations
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
At least 1 year of formal management experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Bachelors degree in an agriculture-related field
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
N/A
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
Trade school certification with hydroponics specialty
CPR certification
