Job Summary:

The Director, Integrated Benefits Operations is a critical role that reports to the Vice President, Employee Benefits & Wellbeing. The director is responsible for building and scaling a cutting-edge benefits service delivery function. This hands-on leader works alongside their team and strategic peers to operationalize the enterprises Benefits strategy and ensure it is embraced broadly across the organization.

Overview

* Lead a team of Benefits professionals responsible for managing all processes associated with the enterprises US Benefits administration portfolio, including the delivery of health, welfare, retirement, and savings programs through an outsourced provider
* Oversee the processing of benefits transactions in a shared services environment
* Develop strong partnerships with benefit providers, ensuring accurate administration of the portfolio to deliver a superior user experience for employees and their families
* Research, analyze and resolve outstanding benefits issues by collecting information , identifying trends, and ensuring swift and permanent resolutions
* Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of the benefits systems and processes, utilizing key performance indicators and holding vendors accountable to contractual service metrics
* Identify and recommend opportunities for simplification or improvement - including reviewing scope of vendor partners, and evaluating systems, interfaces, and administrative protocols for scalability
* Oversees service delivery team responsible for solving escalated benefits queries
* Rollout new benefits plans, implement and integrate those plans in the benefits structure
* Ensure vendors successfully implement annual plan design changes
* Define, manage and control the processes for enrollment of new employees, life event changes and terminations
* Administer all compliance requirements including audits, annual disclosure notices, SARs, and SMMs.

Responsibilities:

* Serve as HIPAA Privacy Officer
* Secretary to the Benefit Plan Administrative Committee
* Assist VP of Benefits with the development and monitoring of annual benefit expense budget, in partnering with Finance
* Manage the strategic relationships with all benefits and health plan vendors and administrators
* Provide coaching and development to the team
* Partner with service providers to ensure high level of performance and monitor compliance with statements of work
* Monitor changes in government regulations and manage resulting implementations
* Assist HRIS team with Benefit vendors integration files and upload to benefits system
* Coordinate and respond to internal and external audit
