Our Support Functions deliver services and make recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the culture of our organization. Our Support Functions include HR, Finance, Information Technology, Legal, Procurement, Administration, Facilities and Security.

Our Sourcing team partner with the business to ensure efficient acquisition of goods and services that enables the commercialization of our medicines, vaccines and Animal Health products. We collaborate internationally and are grouped into center-led categories and regional operating teams.

Responsible for directing, managing, and coordinating all facilities and site support functions for Southeast Pennsylvania operations including: West Point, Upper Gwynedd, North Wales and WeWork (Philadelphia) facilities. Operations include powerhouse and utilities generation/distribution; wastewater and potable water systems; laboratory support operations; security; cafeteria services; maintenance; and operations of facilities (excluding manufacturing operations); soft services and; Integrated Facilities Management partnership. This position will have key responsibility in the management of union and non-union employees (360 people). It will also manage an operating budget of approximately $400MM/year and capital of $1.5B in the next 3 years.

Primary Activities:

* The position is the responsible for managing all the Southeast PA sites (8.0mm Square Feet) and for maintaining safe and compliant operations impacting 10,000 employees and contractors;
* Build and manage a solid and strategic Site Master Planning that integrates all divisions aligned with the strategic imperatives for the company. It will also manage an operating budget of approximately $400MM/year and capital of $1.5B in the next 3 years
* Responsible for managing and ensuring compliance of all non-manufacturing regulatory permits. These permits include: Title V (Air permit); wastewater generation; Storm water management and all construction/township code requirements;
* This position ensures safe, reliable services for manufacturing division to produce mission critical biologics/vaccines ($6.0billion in sales) for the world market.
* It ensures safe and reliable services for research organization, including SALAR operations and all lab operations.
* Responsible for the powerhouse and utilities generation/distribution; wastewater and potable water systems;
* Manage a large integrated workforce consisting of our Company's USW labor and managers (360 employees) and leveraged 3rd party suppliers including all soft services (housekeeping, security, and landscaping); facilities maintenance contractors; and technical services (project engineering, space planning and management, and facilities management);
* Continuous improvement in operational costs, leveraged outsourcing, and space management and data analytics
* Deliver organizational strategy in collaboration with functional peers and stakeholders.
* Liaison to external communities including township(s), county, and state.
* Represents our Company and the site on various boards, including local and state Chambers of Commerce.

Education Requirement:

* Education: BS in Engineering or equivalent.

Required:

* Experience: 15+ years in a multi-faceted operational environment.
* Very strong people management, communications and negotiating skills
* knowledge of utilities - Chemical and/or biologics and/or Pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, significant business and technical expertise.
* Ability to handle and prioritize multiple and simultaneous assignments and quickly adapt to changes in business priorities.
* Program management skills with an understanding of strategic vision and significant attention to detail. Ability to both think critically as well as communicate effectively.
* Experience with financial and budget tasks including Expense and Capital planning and management responsibilities. Technical problem-solving abilities.
* Working knowledge of OSHA Industrial and NFPA standards, DOT, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Admin (FMSCA) and other regulatory agency requirements.

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with External Partners, Agencies, Townships
* Experience in dealing with agencies and management of professionals outside of our Company.
* Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt certification or equal experience in application.
* Experience managing Union Labor bargaining agreements and negotiating principles.
