AWS RoboMaker is a service that makes it easy for developers to build, test, and deploy intelligent robotics applications at scale. The service provides robotics software framework, development, simulation, and fleet management capabilities as an integrated platform. We are looking for a passionate Simulation Engineer to guide the development of new robotics simulation software and features.
Simulation Experience is a team in AWS RobotMaker which is responsible to provide value adding features on top of Simulation Engines / images so that we optimize the development time required by Robotics ML scientists, testers and Robotics simulation engineers to focus on business specific problems.
In this role, you'll designing, innovating, building, and supporting new features to empower robotics developers through cloud-based simulation. You will focus your skills in service-oriented architectures, building horizontally-scalable systems, and help build new publicly-facing AWS features and services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C including object-oriented design
1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
Experience developing 2D or 3D spatial software, e.g. for games or simulators
Experience developing simulations for robotics or vehicle autonomy
