Job Description

Global Sustainability Communication responsibilities include the development and implementation of a new robust communication plan to elevate Shelter2019s Sustainability position both internally and externally. Strong collaboration needed between agency partners, external organizations and internal colleagues to drive awareness, education and opportunities with customers and allies. A transformational mindset is desired to help create a storytelling platform that resonates and excited audiences both internally and externally and help embed a sustainability mindset into the DNA of our global organization.

Global Brand responsibilities include trademark protection and promotion of Shelter Solution2019s platforms such as Styrofoam2122, Great Stuff2122, Tyvek00AE and Corian00AE Design. Collaborates with marketing teams to identify brand scenarios and solutions for new applications and/or products introduced to the business, assists with proper brand use and facilitates the mitigation of trademark infringement.

Responsibilities:

* Able to translate the Sustainability program into a communication plan with multi-layered tactics and messaging
* Drive internal communications within Shelter and across DuPont which translates our goals to actions and exploits our results
* Experience in creating PR programs that accelerate the business value prop with appropriate audiences that utilizes the identified storytelling platform
* Strong leadership to guide agency work and internal teams. Works with commercial teams to help identify sustainability messages and instill sustainability thinking into everything we do
* Ability to network with internal and external sustainability partners and evaluate mutual value creation opportunities
* Understands the marketing communication toolset and can determine the appropriate mediums at the right time
* Researches and identifies external platforms to help shape Shelter2019s alignment with external initiatives
* Executes brand protection activities across multiple mediums
* Consults with marketing teams to identify best branding approaches for new opportunities

Qualification Profile:

* Bachelor2019s degree required in marketing, communications, sustainability or a related field
* At least 5 years2019 experience in marketing, communications, sustainability or related field
* At least 5 years2019 experience in brand trademark protection
* Previous PR experience is preferred
* Ability to collaborate across multiple functions
* Demonstrated understanding of strategic thinking - big picture thinker that can link capabilities to action
* Demonstrated tangible results in growing existing businesses
* Demonstrated ability to change status quo thinking and to think outside the box (2018playing to win2019)
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (high 2018emotional intelligence2019)
* Demonstrated learning agility 2013 comfortable pivoting when necessary and acting with speed
* Demonstrated ability to transform data into insights
* Excellent written and oral English
