As a Senior Manager for Amazon Games Learning & Development, you will join a new team responsible for the design, development, execution, and measurement of learning and development solutions unique to Amazon Games employees. Programs include new hire orientation and onboarding, manager development, soft skills, technical training, and game industry discipline specific development opportunities targeted to grow, engage, and retain our talent.

We are looking for an innovative, dedicated, and analytic Senior Manager to own end-to-end curriculum management for new and existing learning programs. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high degree of innate curiosity and proven expertise in the instructional design, development, and delivery of innovative learning programs at scale. A demonstrated track record in exceptional multi-platform facilitation skills is required. Proficiency with data gathering, analysis, and presentation of insights is critical. Additionally, this role requires continuous inspection of program effectiveness and identification of opportunities to drive impact.

The right candidate for this role will demonstrate:
· Track record of successfully designing, developing, and delivering high-impact development programs to a global audience using a variety of techniques (e.g., instructor-led workshops, self-paced online courses and/or videos, on-the-job training, and simulations)
· Proven ability to influence without authority, motivate cross-functional teams, and self-start
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, paired with sound business judgment and ability to see around corners
· Experience measuring program impact against pre-defined success metrics
· Proven ability to employ data-driven decision making
· Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-oriented work environment
· Passion and interest in developing all levels across an organization

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 10+ years professional learning and development experience including needs analysis, instructional design, facilitation, program management, and measurement
· 5+ years' proven project management skills including planning work, prioritizing and managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, time management, and delivering results with tight deadlines
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or an MBA
· Strong instructional design knowledge and proven experience
· Experience developing and driving large scale learning programs across multiple geographies
· Experience in a high growth, global business environment with the practical application of leadership development and talent management methodologies
· Ability to facilitate learning using a variety of modalities
· Experience coordinating training logistics including course communications, enrollment, and evaluations
· Ability to demonstrate implementation of learning measurement best practices
· Familiar with assessment-for-development tools and processes and use of psychometric instruments
· Experience managing courses in a Learning Management System
· Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication abilities including collaborating with subject matter experts, global stakeholders, and managers to transfer knowledge
· Ability to deal with ambiguity and prioritize, manage, and complete projects with tight deadlines
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
