You'll be building innovative and highly distributed systems to support merchants around the world selling on Amazon in mobile and desktop experiences. You will join a highly technical and entrepreneurial culture defining and building the next generation of an order experience for 3rd party merchants. Selling on Amazon is one of the fastest growing businesses at Amazon.com with about one-third of all items currently sold originating from 3rd party merchants.

This Software Development position is for MFN order fulfillment group, where innovation and latest technologies merge to build brand-new features and capabilities for sellers and end customers.

This SDE position is for Seller Fulfillment Services, working on multiple new projects from the scratch in 2021. We are working on multiple new initiatives to enable sellers to support business customers effectively build next generation platforms. We are working on Seller Fulfilled Prime, expanding the Seller's business as well as platform improvements across all our services to make them more config motivated using new AWS technologies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C including object-oriented design
1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related fields
Experience building complex software systems that have been completely delivered to customers
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
Experience in scaling and performance tuning of large systems
Experience with AWS and other cloud technologies
Proficiency with one modern Java script frameworks like React or Angular.
Experience developing Internet products and Mobile technologies
Experience developing software in a Unix/Linux environment
