What youll do on a typical day:
* Consult with North American Supply Chain (NASC) management and HR business partners to identify a holistic human capital strategy to support implementations for new key sites; design, implement and execute strategic plans integrating organizational development and learning initiatives
* Develop strong collaborative relationships with HR partners and business leaders to strategically align learning solutions and curriculum to business initiatives
* Create, implement and manage training programs; implement metrics and analytics that effectively measure, benchmark and monitor L&D return
* Manage in a dynamic environment with a rapidly changing workforce through a combination of progressive, strategic and tactical contributions
* Leverage deep knowledge of innovative and diverse learning technologies to create a user-focused, efficient and effective learning experience that drives business outcomes
* Oversee content curation to align web and enterprise-based content and ensure it is presented in an organized and meaningful format
* Lead cross-functional and collaborative work on time-sensitive projects
* Oversee all stages of vendor management including procurement and project management while ensuring a measurable return on all project deliverables
* Monitor the evolving marketplace dynamics that impact the design and delivery of learning solutions
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, youll need:
* Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Instructional/Learning Design or equivalent related work or military experience
* 7 years of experience in learning and development or related fields of talent management; 5 years of leadership experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project) and other Windows applications; ability to create complex formulas in Excel
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings and weekends
* Availability to travel as needed
* Experience using analytics to improve current programs and develop new strategic talent practices
Itd be great if you also have:
* Masters degree a in related field
* 10 years of experience, including integrated HR experience with related HR sub-functions and tools, e.g., succession management, performance management, organizational design, etc.
* Effective organizational, leadership and presentation skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
