The Strategy Consultant will support in managing the various administrative policies and procedures of the Middle Market Investment Banking (MMIB) business on a day to day basis. The individual will be responsible for working with relevant groups to assist with financial reporting, market analysis, strategic planning and operational support. This position will be responsible for providing strategic consultant service to the client organization, including consulting with senior managers and Team Members to create and execute on business needs. The Strategy Consultant will assist with overall MMIB business activities including:
* Working alongside MMIB COO with all support functions relevant to operational support and client needs
* Partnering with all supporting business functions, including Compliance, Legal, Risk, Business Continuity, HR, Technology, Daily Operations, Marketing, and Communications
* Coordinating with Finance and other key support areas to assist with financial and other management reporting and analysis
* Liaising with key parties to execute initiatives including budgeting and strategic planning
* Preparing internal and external market presentations for MMIB group heads
* Monitoring performance and analyzing the competitive landscape
* Managing the deal life cycle, from deal initiation to deal closing
* Maintaining MMIB relationships, opportunities and reporting with bank partners
* Tracking adherence to group policies and procedures
* Assisting Team Members with various operational and reporting issues
* Preparing ad hoc financial and/or strategic analyses as needed
* Collaborating regularly with the group heads on all policy related matters
* Overseeing logistics for internal team events and external client events
The role will provide opportunities to work with the leadership team to define and implement business and process enhancements. Process enhancements include leveraging technology more efficiently and working to streamline the administrative processes associated with supporting the committee.
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of strategic planning experience

Other Desired Qualifications
* 3+ years of business experience in capital markets or investment banking, or equivalent experience in relevant support areas (i.e. finance, compliance, project management, etc.)
* Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint) skills
* Broad conceptual thinking and work-planning skills
