Job Description

Be part of a team working with all engineering disciplines to create and maintain software within a Windows PC platform. This is a unique position to use software engineering skills to control machines used in manufacturing a vast array of electronic equipment. Responsibilities will include working on all aspects of software development across multiple products. Assist in analysis of project tasks, definition of design specifications, development/refinement of applications and utility programs, resolution of hardware/software compatibility and their interface challenges and assist with system architecture for new and revised offerings.

The position is responsible for the following:

* Assists in the analysis and investigation of software engineering project tasks.
* Helps prepare software requirements specifications.
* Assists in the resolution of hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations.
* Creates limited design specifications.
* Develops standard routines and utility programs.

Qualifications

* B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical field, up to 5 years of related experience.
* Experience with the C or C++ programming language development experience targeting the Windows OS platform, preference using the Visual Studio platform with source control.
* up to 5 years experience to work closely with our senior engineers.
* Experience with software projects using structured design techniques.
* Good oral and written communications skills.
* Object oriented programing experience a plus

Physical requirements and working conditions:

* Office setting
* This position requires 90% sitting, 5% standing and 5% walking and occasionally lifting to 24 pounds.
* A valid passport or ability to obtain upon starting is required as our team is in multiple locations and customer visits are sometimes required. Travel up to 10%
