SCA, a leader in the outpatient surgery industry, strategically partners with health plans, medical groups and health systems across the country to develop and optimize surgical facilities. The Organizational Development Manager is a core member of the Learning and Development and HR team responsible for managing multiple learning programs for teammates and leaders at SCA. This role will be responsible for building organization and leadership development capabilities through the design, delivery and evaluation of learning activities, tools and assessments which are aligned to the business strategy and operational goals.

Primary Responsibilities

* Serve as program manager for SCA's Advanced Leadership Program, a 12-month cohort program designed to accelerate the development of Director and Vice President level leaders. Key responsibilities include: participating in the design of program elements and activities, managing timelines, scheduling and communications, coordinating with internal and external service providers, tracking participant progress and measuring results.
* Serve as a consultant to HR and business leaders to identify leadership development gaps and opportunities, and recommend solutions to close those gaps
* Partner with internal and/or external subject matter experts to develop instructionally sound, creative and high-quality learning solutions that deliver high impact results (e.g. curriculum design, self-study, e-learning, blended learning)
* Facilitate various learning events, programs, and workshops via multiple delivery methods, including Instructor-led, virtual, eLearning and other blended formats
* Develop, analyze, and report on metrics that measure the impact and effectiveness of training programs, and provide actionable recommendations for ongoing expansion and improvement
* Manage the selection and use of professional development assessment tools, and evaluate their effectiveness and impact
* Manage/support/enhance talent development processes and programs (e.g., performance management, engagement survey)

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience with an emphasis on learning and development and proven ability to develop content and manage in-person, virtual, or self-paced learning solutions, such as e-learning, virtual communities, performance support tools, self-assessments, videos, and curated micro-learning
* Demonstrated results with:
* Instructional design; particularly blended learning and e-learning
* Training needs analysis and evaluation methods
* Assessment tools (e.g., Emergenetics, Enneagram, 360 assessments)
* Competency design and development
* Strong facilitation skills
* Experience with learning management systems and eLearning technology
* Proven project management skills
* Solid communicator who can simplify strategy into specific actions and priorities
* Results-oriented self-starter who takes initiative and can prioritize and multi-task effectively
* Excellent relationship builder with collaborative and inclusive approach
* High customer service orientation and problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to think and plan strategically but follow through and act on the tactical
* Ability to successfully work in a fast-paced environment across multiple stakeholders
* Travel: ~25% (currently on hold)
* You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting, however, may be required to work from home temporarily due to space limitations.
* Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.
