Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is currently seeking a Principal Program Cost, Schedule and Control Analyst or Sr. Principal Program Cost, Schedule and Control Analyst to assist with all business activities associated with a rapidly growing Restricted Program. This position reports to the Program rsquo;s Business Manager and partners with the applicable Program Management Team to establish strategy, prioritize requirements, and achieve financial goals while ensuring the integrity of business processes. This position requires a Secret clearance and will be located in Melbourne, Florida.
Responsibilities / Duties:
* Prepares in-depth budgets and schedules for medium sized programs and performs analyses to ensure that contracts are within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines
* Performs financial analyses and prepares variance explanations, estimates to complete (EACs), and monthly corporate and customer reports related to cost/schedule performance, staffing, and sales outlook
* Prepares EVMS baselines, maintains artifacts, analyzes monthly performance, updates MPM / Cobra system, and prepares monthly IPMRs.
* Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
* Prepares and evaluates ROMs and proposals
* Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
* Interfaces with customer; works under limited supervision
Qualification
Basic Qualifications (Principal):
* Bachelor 39;s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of experience or a Master 39;s degree and 4 years related experience. May consider 4 additional years of related experience (10 yrs. total) with a HS Diploma/GED.
* Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
* Experience with Earned Value Management
* Must possess an Active Secret Clearance adjudicated in the last 6 years.
* Position is contingent upon being able to obtain Special Program Clearance within 90 days of hire
* U.S. Citizenship required.
Basic Qualifications (Sr. Principal):
* Bachelor 39;s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of experience or a Master 39;s degree and 8 years related experience. May consider 4 additional years of related experience (14 yrs. total) with a HS Diploma/GED.
* Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
* Considerable experience with Earned Value Management
* Must possess an Active Secret Clearance adjudicated in the last 6 years.
* Position is contingent upon being able to obtain Special Program Clearance within 90 days of hire
* U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with MPM, Cobra, Winsight, SAP
* Experience with MS Project and/or Scheduling
* Understanding of DoD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, Commercial contracts, Commercial contracts and the FAR.
