Internal Communications Manager, ABP

The Ads and Business Products teams mission is to make meaningful connections between people and businesses. Whether its helping entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life or helping customers, expand their footprint, the work we do changes lives. ABP also sits at the center of Facebooks monetization strategy and is the engine that powers Facebooks growth. ABP is looking for an Internal Communications Manager, reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, to join the team and serve as consultative business partner. In this role you will develop and execute the strategy for how we communicate our key priorities, serve as the organizations strategic communications advisor, and work with the VP of Ads and Business Products to craft internal and executive communications. This role is closely aligned to the Director of Operations to bring you closer into the business and organizational strategy for ABP.

The ideal candidate will excel at working collaboratively with executives and colleagues alike and consistently delivers high-quality work even under time constraints. Candidates should be strategic, skillful writers, strong communicators, and creative thinkers. Attention to detail, ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment, and excellent organization are critical. Experience in executing proactive communication plans, managing cross-functional projects, and developing programming around multi-dimensional topics is preferred. You should be passionate about the services we provide and the people that we serve.

Internal Communications Manager, ABP Responsibilities

* Develop and execute proactive and strategic communication initiatives for the ABP organization

* Lead the development and execution of existing and new communication channels, including workplace groups, All Hands, Q&As and events

* Develop scalable communications plans that includes templates, style guides and editorial calendars

* Author and project-manage the production of executive presentations such as ABP All Hands presentations, client presentations, and industry speeches

* Draft all internal posts for the VP of ABP around various topics, including business strategy, priorities, and announcements

* Provide proactive and reactive messaging that supports key initiatives and program rollouts

* Partner closely with other internal and external communications teams as well as the HRBP to align on communication opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

* 8+ years professional experience working in corporate communications, political campaigns, or nonprofit mission-driven communications

* Experience writing for a global audience across varying levels of an organization and experience providing guidance and support to leaders and channels

* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and to working autonomously

* Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline

* Experience turning complex information into engaging content across various channels

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in solving problems using judgement and analysis

* Experience in public relations, branding and campaigns

* Experience in the technology industry
