OVERVIEW
The MRO (Maintenance Reliability and Operations) Receiving/Purchasing is responsible for all purchasing processes in the Murfreesboro facility. The MRO Receiving/Purchasing employee will work 1st shift with minimal overtime. The position reports directly to the Storeroom Manager.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Responsible for plant purchasing and requisition process
* Responsible for vendor management
* Responsible for managing SAP workflow issues
* Manage past-due receipts
* Champion productivity and cost reduction ideas
* First point of contact for Procurement Shared Services (PSS)
* Support everyday receiving/purchasing activity
* Acknowledge and resolve customer issues
* Responsible for daily MRO deliveries (example: Fed Ex, UPS, LTL)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Knowledge of Maximo & SAP
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to build, foster and maintain positive relationships (Internal/External Customers, Vendors, Salesmen, Manufacturers)
* Work with minimal supervision while keeping others informed of actions and progress
* Able to work a flexible schedule if needed
* Seek and participate in continuous improvement opportunities
* Ability to lift 50 lbs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience in a manufacturing and/or Receiving/Purchasing
* Expertise in computerized maintenance software (example: Maximo, Datastream etc.)
* Expertise in financial, purchasing or enterprise software (example: SAP)
