POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Manager -Accredo Market Development will lead the market development efforts and assist with the strategic direction relative to Specialty Direct Accredo health plans, Medicare, and Medicaid.
This individual will lead a team dedicated to the following efforts:
* Identifying new business opportunities and areas for business growth
* Understanding customer needs and expectations by segment
* Evaluating current customer base in regards to loyalty / satisfaction to further outline opportunities and priorities
* Assist account team with maximizing product sales and services
* Continued focus on brand positioning and relevancy
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for the market research and insight needs of our Specialty pharmacy and medical solutions. Working in conjunction with the account management team, this individual will develop and drive a research agenda that supports strategic insight for both short term and long term growth in the specialty market place.
Collaborates across multiple areas of the organization to define market and research objectives and recommend and execute appropriate research initiatives. The individual ensures research is conducted with business actions in mind, at the highest quality levels to build trust and confidence in the findings, insights and implications that support key business decisions.
Keeping up to date on latest methodologies and technology by utilizing technology and tools that allow for tracking of market and sales efforts across multiple areas within Health Services. The individual will also work with cross-functional partners to ensure collaboration and coordination of efforts.
Championing strategies that provide deep and broad-based consumer & client, and marketplace knowledge.
Ensure direct reports can demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of market research efforts and current Accredo product offerings and client base.

QUALIFICATIONS
8-12 years of relevant experience with Bachelors degree or Masters degree with 6-10 years relevant experience. Preferred Masters degree in Marketing Science/Market Research, Economics or Statistics or equivalent work experience.
Strong PC skills including MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint, working knowledge of internal IT systems, PBM adjudication processes, Sales forces tools; Working knowledge of financials with strong analytic skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and to resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency.
Demonstrated ability managing projects along with utilizing proven project management processes.
Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to lead others, organize, analyze and interpret information.
Strong focus on book of business client satisfaction and client retention results.
Ability to travel as needed to meet goals.
Proven track record in driving a research agenda with real impact in a complex and matrixed business environment
Prefer a candidate that will be an expert in all aspects of research design and execution, comfortable leading in a highly collaborative setting, and an ability to effectively influence and work with senior leaders.
