This position is part of our Advanced Safety & User Experience (AS&UX) segment and is located in Troy, Michigan.

Summary:

Reporting to the HR Director, The Human Resources Manager is responsible for implementing HR policies & programs, and managing all aspects of employee relations and development. You will manage organizational development, performance management, training, compensation and benefits administration, and employee counseling services. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function and the organizations leadership to deliver value-added service that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The Human Resources Manager maintains an effective level of business literacy about the segments financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition. The ideal candidate will be resourceful and have excellent communication and leadership skills.

Role and Responsibilities:

* Lead team of HRBPs to support central functions for AS&UX. Provide direction on day to day activities and approvals as required for transactions.
* Partner with the global functional HRBPs to ensure regional alignment
* Leadership Coaching: Provide coaching to leadership to maximize employee engagement, team interaction and effective rollout of initiatives
* Employee Engagement: Run culture survey and focus groups to understand areas for improvement. Base improvement plans off of employee feedback to improve the morale/employee experience.
* Talent Acquisition: Coordinates & participates in all aspects of the employment process including candidate selection & onboarding activities. Adhere to established metrics.
* Performance Management: Administer/support the MyCORE (Aptiv performance system) automated process phases for assigned staffs and direct employees. Lead Performance Calibration process for assigned staffs. Partner with Managers to coordinate and administer Performance Improvement Plans for employees when required .
* Training: Support employee training initiatives/rollout for assigned staff areas.
* Reporting / Data Analysis: Assist in preparing reports, analyzing data or conditions and interpreting human resource management policies & procedures accordingly
* Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business or Related field or equivalent experience
* 7+ years of experience
* Highly developed written and oral communication skills
* Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
* High level of analytical ability where problems are complex
* Ability to exercise a high level of independent judgment
* Ability to multi-task
* Ability to facilitate meetings and provide clear direction/instructions to audience
