Job Description

Job Summary: 

Oversight and processing of necessary paperwork and documentation for Motor Carrier files. Monitor Motor Carrier contract compliance through Carrier 411 or other FMCSA monitoring service and maintain files by working with Accounting Supervisor, Agency Offices, Terminal and Onsite Manager, Logistics Operations Personnel, and other Carrier Compliance team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Oversee and maintain Carrier Compliance email inbox.

Receive and organize all New Carrier set-up paperwork, contracts, insurance certificates.

Receive and update any changes to Carrier contracts, insurance, or other changes to carrier records.

Enter New Carrier information into TMS database efficiently and accurately.

Maintain TMS data base on carriers; insuring that all files are complete, accurate and up to date.

Contact operations personnel and agency offices concerning compliance problems with new and existing carriers.

Answer all incoming phone calls in a professional manner and assist all callers or refer them to the proper individual within the office.

Handle incoming carrier references.

Work with Accounting on carrier changes of payment status, errors in Direct Deposit accounts, factor company setups, change of addresses, and any other carrier problems.

Run reporting and inactivate all carriers not in compliance.

Set up Carrier Portal access, new customer Bill-to's, and 3rd party pay to's in TMS.

Manage Carrier Qualifications and Compliance

Perform other duties as per assigned by Supervisor and/or Executive Leadership

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Previous experience in a related field preferred

High school diploma or GED required

Basic computer skills required

Must be able to maintain data accuracy and ensure clear communication with carriers
