Independent Agent Division- Territory Account Manager
Job Details:
* Employment Status: Permanent/ Full Time
* Job Location: RGV TX (Travel 80% plus)
Seeking an experienced Territory/Sales Manager who will serve as the liaison between all the functional departments and our Independent Agents. The Ideal Candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the relationship between Pronto and the Agency Owners. Must have 3-5 years experience performance managing sales, agencies, and/or staff. This is a KPI driven position with bonus potential commensurate to performance.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
* Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies
* Analyze data to find the most efficient strategies to grow territory
* Source and appoint new agencies
* Meet with agencies to provide solutions and address concerns
* Discover sales opportunities through researching agencies.
* Present new products and services to existing agencies
* Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate agency relationships
* Conduct training in sales techniques and company product attributes
* Assess sales performance according to KPIs
* Monitor competition within assigned region
* Prepare and submit reports to the IA Director
* Help in the development and execution of motivational campaigns
* Any other duties that might be assigned from time to time
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Territory/Sales Manager
* Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred
* Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
* Proficient in Google, MS Office; familiarity with CRM Software is a plus
* Excellent communication skills
* Organizational and leadership ability
* Problem-solving aptitude
* BS/BA in Business, Marketing or a related field
* Bilingual Required
* Insurance industry experience preferred
Additional Considerations:
Required:
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum 4 years channel sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
* Extensive travel required.
* P&C Insurance license required.
* Must have working knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office computer software application to include word processing, excel spreadsheets, insurance database.
Preferred:
* Excellent bilingual communications skills in English and Spanish.
