Job Summary
The Business Development Analysts Distributed Renewable Energy will support the Power Delivery Business Development team in the implementation of distributed solar business. This role will:
* Support the identification of opportunities for acquisition and development of small-scale solar projects.
* Support evaluation, analysis, and due diligence activities for small-scale solar project acquisitions and development.
* Provides analytical support for the evaluation, analysis, and due diligence activities.
* Support the development of regulatory filings and proceedings. Support testimony development for project filings.
* Support negotiations of key contracts and agreements and a smooth transition for acquisition and operation integration.
* Support the preparation of governance materials and public presentations.
* Support community outreach and permitting activities for small-scale solar projects.
* Support the development strategy and recommendations for expanding the business and pursuing new opportunities in small-scale solar.
* Performs analyses of varying complexity, and assists in recommendations on certain opportunities, in many cases under directed supervision.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and education required for entry into this job include the following:
* Minimum 3 years of related experience. Note: a partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications.
* Knowledge of the energy business and markets acquired through related work experience.
* Knowledge of business financials.
* Knowledge of renewable energy.
* Ability to perform data analysis.
* Ability to define problems, collect data and draw conclusions.
* Ability to communicate effectively, speak persuasively.
* Effective interpersonal skills with internal and external parties.
* Demonstrated experience and proficiency in analytical, negotiation, and project management responsibilities, including some leadership responsibilities.
* Strong oral and written communication/presentation skills.
* Strong computer skills.
* Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor's degree.
