KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in CIO Advisory for our Consulting practice.
Responsibilities:
* Lead strategy, design, build of hybrid multi-cloud, primarily IaaS/Faas/PaaS, environments (compute, storage and network) and lead hybrid multi-cloud full stack migration planning and execution coordination
* Evaluate clients' technology estate (application, infrastructure, network) rationalization opportunities, sourcing options, economic models, risk posture, and recommend strategic direction
* Lead operating model (process, people, service delivery, tools, governance and performance) analysis, design and deployment focused on automation, orchestration, site reliability and disaster recovery engineering, and infrastructure-as-code
* Design and execute hybrid multi-cloud environment and operating model PoCs
* Support building account and client relationships via high quality engagement delivery and manage engagement staffing, financials, quality and risk
* Coordinate client pursuits and development of service proposals and contribute to hybrid multi-cloud proposal material, capabilities, thought leadership content
Qualifications:
* Minimum five years in leadership roles, in hybrid multi-cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) transformation programs including hybrid multi-cloud management and or operating model changes
* Minimum three years with infrastructure-as-code, automation, and orchestration technologies (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Powershell, Github, Azure Devops, Jenkins, ServiceNow)
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college/university; Master of Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration (MBA) is preferred
* Prior experience with traditional datacenter infrastructure engineering (compute, storage, network) and operations patterns such as patching, jobs scheduling, monitoring, logging, request fulfillment and incident resolution is preferred as well as prior experience in consulting
* Certification in one or more technical competencies (AWS, GCP, Azure, VMware, Networking, Systems Admiration, Solution Architecture, and Security) is preferred
* Additional desirable experience in Unix/Linux administration, shell scripting, Active Directory/LDAP, Routing protocols, SDN/SDWAN/WAN/LAN (e.g., Cisco, F5, Vmware, Juniper, Palo Alto), managing platforms (database and or application runtime environments), and information security
* Ability to travel up to 80 percent of the time
