Job Description
The HR Shared Services Specialist partners with the SVP, HR Shared Services (HRSS) and others to align HR services, projects, and resolutions to escalations in a timely manner. The position requires a number of different skills related to the overall HR Shared Services strategy. This includes the development and delivery of services related to design, engagement, messaging, and change management. Your interpersonal and communication skills will be needed to foster strong working relationships at all levels as you will be responsible for multiple activities to a large audience. You will have to easily adapt to changing schedules and priorities, while proactively addressing needs as they arise. You will need to maintain a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
* A hands-on role that requires one to think broadly, communicate clearly and effectively partner across many teams
* Influencer and change agent, driver of process improvement, continuously focused on the team member experience
* Partners and creates effective internal and external relationships. This includes the HR Shared Services team, COEs, HRBPs, business stakeholders and vendors.
* May represent HR Shared Services (HRSS) in meetings with other teams
* Assists SVP HRSS / HRSS team with budgets, the budgeting process and vendor invoicing
* Partners with SVP HRSS / HRSS team on current and future staffing needs
* Governance of HRSS projects / work coming into HRSS / 3rd party vendors partnering with other leaders on their project plans / project updates
* Provides project updates to teams, committees, etc.
* Assists SVP HRSS with office / team communications, meetings, initiatives, and special projects
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in HR or a closely related field.
* Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
* Five or more years of experience in HR or a closely related field/role
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to prioritize and bring others together effectively
* Experience with budgets / the budgeting process
* Project management experience
* Process Improvement mindset
* Proven relationship and people management skills
* Vendor relationship management experience
* High degree of professionalism and discretion
* Knowledge of HR processes and HR systems
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams
