This is a hybrid role with management of Business, Material and Manufacturing planning and execution. Will have direct reports of two groups Manufacturing planning / Industrial Engineering and Operations Program management. Manages and responsible for build planning and Operations execution for the WDC Platforms business. Works closely with multiple manufacturing internal and external Manufacturing sites. Direct management responsibilities for the Manufacturing Planning, and Operations Program Management teams reporting to the Senior Director of Operations Single point of contact for planning, Manufacturing and tracking all aspects of execution:

- Business planning, PO through build, shipment and delivery
- Sets Service Level Agreements to provide commit back to Business Operations and Sales
- Sets SLAs for turnaround of forecasted and un-forecasted orders
- Reports risks to commits or forecast, tracks escalations and path to close
- Responsible for pulling together following inputs to provide supply commit
o Demand forecast (MDR), Sales Forecast (weekly from sales), and un-forecasted upsides (BU Ops)
o Non-drive supply outlook material positioning at CMs and clear to build

- Works closely with Material teams and CMs to publish Clear To Build process and documents
o Device supply positioning / timing
o Factory capacity planning and NRE budgets
o Work with logistics to mitigate constraints, expedite requests
o Primary interface to CM's CM holidays, Customs holidays, exceptions, risks

Works cross functionally with:

Procurement path to close shortages, escalations

Business Ops demand forecast, priorities, pre-builds

Device Planning group - for HDD/SSD supply

Contract Manufacturers capacity planning, supply position and capacity outlook

NPI - New product transitions to volume production

Sustaining team - Volume products management
