The continuous growth and success of our organization has led to this search for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Irvine, California team. The successful candidate will participate in the pricing activities of RFPs (Requests For Proposals) and will acquire a breadth of knowledge in all financial/operational aspects of our business. The department is headed by the Chief Actuary/Senior Vice President at OptumRx. Primary Responsibilities:

* Support the pricing team in its effort to win new business and retain current clients
* Leverage business knowledge to propose solutions to business challenges regularly in a dynamic work environment
* Build and maintain financial models to assist in the economic analysis of market alternatives
* Evaluate and recommend alternative pricing options and plan design changes based on economic analyses and trends
* Collaborate with the Sales and Proposals teams to project pricing and profit for a range of services and products the company offers
* Gather, summarize and analyze detailed data

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a focus in Business, Math, Finance, Economics or an equivalent area of study
* 2+ years of financial analysis experience
* 2+ years of financial modeling experience
* Proficient utilizing MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
* Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained

Preferred Qualifications:

* Healthcare experience
* Pharmaceutical / PBM background
* Financial consulting experience
