JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Manager Marketing will lead the strategic global development of Textron Aviations product brands and work tirelessly to evolve Textron Aviations positioning and differentiation within the general aviation culture and landscape.

The Manager Marketing will lead a team devoted to calculated risk taking in marketing communications driving best-in-class go-to-market strategy and activation. This position is accountable for driving vision and executing strategy, delivering results, cross-business influence and coordination.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide visible leadership across the organization as the leading expert and go-to for Textron Aviations unique product selling proposition, market perception, and competitive positioning.
2. Develop and lead long-term, over-arching global strategy for Textron Aviations product/brand marketing that filters down into regional execution.
3. Interface with Customers, Marketing Leadership, SVPs, VPs, Business Leaders and RVPs, Service, and Sales as the primary product liaison for the Marketing organization.
4. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure a cohesive and consistent messaging across all marketing efforts
5. Develop and execute the annual marketing plan and go-to-market strategies for products which aligns with the strategic business review.
6. Manage the implementation of Textron Aviations brand both externally throughout the industry and internally throughout the company.
7. Propose specific campaigns to generate increased marketing leads for existing models, new product announcements or enhancements, and unsold inventory.
8. Direct product message across all Textron Aviation marketing materials, properties, and documents. Coordinate the development of all collateral, including sales sheets, brochures, print and digital advertising, emails, webpages, apps, press releases, media opportunities, launch events, customer engagement events, trade show graphics, and social media.
9. Manage the personal and professional development of direct reports.
10. Represent voice of the customer (as well as bringing the market perspective and or competitors perspective) in platform team meetings.
11. Support product development decisions using market insights about our products and competing products. Contribute based on facts, external surveys, customer feedback, and market insights.
12. Manage and organize customer data collection as it relates to product development and improvements, including customer surveys, sales force feedback, and customer service information.
13. Participate in customer advisory board for product categories; help recruiting, communications, and sustainment of group dynamics and targeted demographics.
